For Middle East contractors

The BuildingConnected alternative built for the Middle East

BuildingConnected is where much of the world's preconstruction happens, in the markets Autodesk serves it in. VEXORS is built for tendering in the Middle East: the client's BoQ as the tender, bids priced on your lines, every bid levelled and evaluated by AI, in English and Arabic.

What is BuildingConnected?

Autodesk BuildingConnected is a bid management network built for construction professionals: bid invitations sent in minutes, bids compared side by side, bidder recommendations before you invite, and subcontractor prequalification from financial statements through TradeTapp. Autodesk offers it in the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India. VEXORS is the alternative built for tendering in the Middle East: the client's BoQ becomes the tender, every trade package is priced on its own lines, and AI levels and evaluates each bid with the reasons written out, in English and Arabic, with public pricing.

An honest starting point

Who BuildingConnected is actually for

Autodesk BuildingConnected is a bid management network with more than 1.5 million construction professionals: bid invitations in minutes, side-by-side comparison, bidder recommendations and, through TradeTapp, subcontractor prequalification from their financial statements. For a contractor in North America, the UK, Europe or Australia, its network is its strength, and it is hard to beat.

Autodesk lists BuildingConnected for the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India, and names no Middle East region. This page is for contractors here: tendering against a BoQ measured the way Gulf consultants measure it, pricing in AED and SAR, subcontractors who answer in Arabic, and an evaluation that levels every bid before anyone reads the totals.

Priced on your BoQ lines

Every trade package goes out on the sections, items and quantities the consultant measured, so a bid is comparable the moment it arrives, not after someone rebuilds it into a comparison view.

English and Arabic, throughout

The contractor, the subcontractor and the supplier each work in the language they use, from the invitation to the evaluation, not only on the pages a translator reached.

Public pricing, from the website

Plans and prices are published. The free plan stays free. Subcontractors never pay to bid. You know the cost before you talk to anyone.

Built for how tenders run in the region

The BoQ

The client's BoQ, as it is.

Sections, items and quantities stay as the consultant measured them, and every package goes out on those lines. Import the BoQ from Excel once, split it into the trade packages you need to price, and attach the drawings and specification each package needs. Every bidder prices those exact items in a browser or on a phone, so the comparison is ready in the structure you already tender in, the moment the deadline closes.

  • Import the BoQ from Excel, sections and quantities intact
  • Split it into trade packages for each specialist
  • Bidders price your exact lines in a browser or on a phone
  • Comparable in your own structure the moment the deadline closes
Language

Arabic on both sides.

The contractor, the subcontractor and the supplier each work in the language they use, on the same tender. VEXORS runs in English and Arabic throughout: the package, the questionnaire, the clarifications and the evaluation all read in either language, not only the pages a translator reached. A subcontractor registers free from your invitation and prices the package from a browser or a phone, in the language their team works in, and your evaluation reads both.

  • The whole platform in English and Arabic, not a translated brochure
  • Subcontractors register free from your invitation
  • Clarifications, revisions and the evaluation read in either language
  • Bidder letters and figures stay consistent across both languages
Evaluation

The evaluation, not only the comparison.

Levelled totals, flagged rates and exclusions, and a written recommendation, so the lowest total and the right award are never confused. Every item a bidder left unpriced is counted and priced back in at your estimate or the median of the other bids. On items with at least three prices, a rate far from the median is flagged with its ratio, for example 0.31x. AI then scores each bid out of 100 against your weighted commercial and technical criteria, writes the reason beside every score and recommends an award that stays your decision, with named approvals.

  • Unpriced items counted and priced back in before totals are compared
  • Rates far from the median flagged, with the ratio
  • Every bid scored out of 100 against your criteria, with the reasons
  • The award stays yours, with named approvals kept on the record

Who this page is for

Main contractors bidding regional projects

You tender in AED, SAR or another Gulf currency, against a BoQ measured the way local consultants measure it, and you need every subcontractor's price on those same lines.

Procurement and estimating teams

You run several trade packages on one project and need the totals levelled the same way every time, with the reasons for the award kept on the record.

Subcontractors invited to price a package

You price the buyer's package for free, in the language you work in, with a quality check before you submit and your own sub-tenders to the suppliers you buy from.

Getting started

From the client's BoQ to a levelled tender in four steps

1

Import the BoQ

Bring in the client's BoQ from Excel: sections, items, units and quantities exactly as measured. Attach the drawings and specification.

2

Split it into packages

Send each trade package to the subcontractors you already work with. They register free and price your items in a browser or on a phone.

3

Read the levelled comparison

Bids arrive on your BoQ with unpriced items priced back in, rates and terms checked, and every bid scored with the reasons.

4

Award, with the record kept

Choose the bid, record the named approvals, and keep the tender, revisions and answers in one place.
